Understanding the Delivery Requirements for Two 20ft Containers on One Load
Delivering two 20ft containers on the same load is efficient, but it does require proper access and site readiness. Because the truck arrives with both units loaded together, your property needs firm, dry ground and enough space for the driver to turn, back in, and line up safely. Clear access, wide entry points, and room to maneuver are essential to ensure the containers can be placed smoothly without delays. Here is everything you need to know before we arrive with your 2×20ft delivery.

Delivery of Two 20 Foot Containers
Your two 20ft containers will likely be delivered on a 40ft tilt-deck trailer. Your delivery site needs a minimum of 100 ft (30.5 m) of straight-line clearance.
Choosing Door Direction
When you order your container, you'll choose which direction the doors should face when they are loaded on the trailer. This decision affects how the container will be unloaded at your site.

Container Doors Loaded Doors to Cab
At the depot, the container will be loaded with the doors of the container facing the cab of the truck.
At the delivery site, the truck will back into the position where you want your container and tilt the container off. The container doors will come off last.

Container Doors Loaded Doors to Rear
At the depot, the container will be loaded with the doors of the container facing the rear of trailer.
At the delivery site, the truck will back into the position where you want your container and tilt the container off. The container doors will come off first.
